About Me

My photo
Artist’s statement: The nature of my work stems from photographing those things around me that I love the most. My family, my home, my garden, my dog. My intense love for color is the driving passion behind my work. I LOVE bright, vivid, bold, color. Color is God’s joyful expression of LIFE. To enjoy life in its fullness is to see the blue skies, the white clouds, the green grass. I believe that if we see clearly(that is, in His light), that we shall be able to ENJOY all the colors that surround us. Enjoying life means more than having things, but enjoying the things we have. Those things in our lives which bring the most joy are things not made by man but created by God.

COMFORT, COMFORT MY PEOPLE, SAYS YOUR GOD Isaiah 40:1

Be comforted my dear friend!
Store up comfort, this was the prophet Isaiah's mission. The world is full of hurting & comfortless hearts. But before you will be competent for this lofty ministry, you must be trained. And your training is extremely costly. For to make it complete, you too must endure the same afflictions that are wringing countless hearts of tears and blood. Consequently, your own life becomes the hospital ward where you are taught the divine schooling of COMFORT. You will be wounded so that in the binding up of your wounds by the Great Physician, you may learn how to render first aid to the wounded everywhere. Do you wonder why you are having to experience some great sorrow? You will find many others afflicted in the same way. You will tell them how you suffered & were comforted. As the story unfolds, God will apply the anesthetic He once used on you to them. You will come to know why you were afflicted. And you will bless God for the discipline that filled your life with such a TREASURE of experience & helpfulness.
GOD COMFORTS US NOT TO MAKE US COMFORTABLE
BUT TO MAKE US COMFORTERS!

LET GOD DEAL WITH THE INJUSTICES, INJURIES AND ILL-WILL IN YOUR HEART

O GOD PUT ME IN MY PLACE
For it is there that I know to be safe,
If I've been wrong let me know,
And what has seemed right, I'll let go
Because of your mercy and grace

When outside of your will, it's so cold and unreal
And brings discomfort in every way,
It's Your Word that I need on the inside of me
To bring me joy and peace day by day.

When in darkness I hide,
All my sin kept inside
Seems never to turn into day
Once again in Your Word
Can Your voice be heard
And your light lead me on in the way

It's a daily affair, walking with Him who cares,
Yielding and giving our best
All our fears will subside,
If our sins we'll not hide,
And in Him we'll find our rest.

WORD-greek(logos)-the sayings of God, a word, uttered by a living voice.
TRUTH-greek(alētheia)-the truth as taught in the Christian religion, respecting God and the execution of his purposes through Christ, and respecting the duties of man, opposing alike to the superstitions of the Gentiles and the inventions of the Jews, and the corrupt opinions and precepts of false teachers even among Christians.

TRUE FREEDOM ANYONE?

As we all know, KNOWLEDGE is key! Key to KNOWING THE TRUTH
whether it be spiritual or natural. Key to Godly or worldly WISDOM,
spiritual and physical HEALTH,  MENTAL AND EMOTIONAL WELL-BEING
and spiritual and material WEALTH.
God’s Word says,
John 8:32 "And ye shall know the truth,(bible truth) and the truth shall make you free."
FREE FROM WHAT? Most importantly, from being dead spiritually, because you haven't any spiritual TRUTH in you. Jesus said, John 14:6 "I am the way, the truth, and the life!"To be alive naturally and dead spiritually IS NO LIFE AT ALL! Spiritually speaking, it's no more intelligent than living under a bridge in Alaska, (in the winter no doubt), or dropping out of school in the third grade and expecting to go far, the farmer not planting his seeds but expecting a cash crop, burying your head in the sand in hopes that things will be all better when you come back up, drowning your earthly cares in a bottle of booze, checking out with your drug of choice, retreating to the furthest mountain top, living with the wolves, or escaping to a remote, secluded island to get away from everyone and everything.
The problem will forever be, YOU. You are running from God!  YOU are running from your godly responsibilities. YOU were created by God for God, with this innate desire to find your MAKER and to serve Him! We ALL were! If you are not yet looking for and to Him, YOU are living your life ON THE RUN from the SPIRITUAL LIFE found only in Christ! (The ONLY life that matters, trust me, one day we will ALL understand this, sadly though, Luke 13:24 "Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able." You must come ALIVE spiritually (not just religiously go to church, but a personal relationship with God) to make Heaven your home and your stay here WORTHWHILE! Life(natural) is not worth living if you are dead(spiritually) while you liveth. Whether you can wrap your mind around this or not, or choose to reject it is YOUR decision. Hebrews 3:15 "While it is said, To day if ye will hear His voice, harden not your hearts, as in the provocation. God's Word is REAL and it is TRUE. Whether you choose to believe it or not, live it or not makes it no less REAL! And if you do not KNOW and walk in the light of it you are LOST. You are blind,(spiritually) you are deaf(spiritually) and dumb(spiritually). These are not harsh words, but sad spiritual truths!  To live a LIFE void of the spirit, that's what is truly HARSH, it's not theTRUE WORDS that are spoken! All these things mentioned are ways of escape! They are prolonging your misery, keeping you in bondage. Escaping from the real world because you're weary, worn and sad! You need to STOP RUNNING away from God and His Word, His Will, and His way! "It's not God's will that any man perish, but that ALL would come to repentance!" Godly truth is to be ALIVE spiritually. Without it is to be DEAD! Rom 6:13 "Neither yield ye your members [as] instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members [as] instruments of righteousness unto God." Those that are ALIVE unto God are they that have opened their heart to God and have come into the knowledge of the truth (the Word of God). 1Ti 2:4 "Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth." 2Th 1:7 "And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels, 2Th 1:8 "In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ." These words written here are Spiritual truths. They are found word for word in the bible. First things first. Let's get you in on all this! Ask Jesus to come into your heart right now. It's where spiritual life begins
Heavenly Father, I come to you right now.
I believe that Jesus is the Son of God
and that He died for me and rose again.
He is alive today.  Please come into my heart
and forgive me of all my sins.
I want you to be the Lord of my life
and the Savior of my soul.
Teach me your ways and help me
to live a godly life. I cannot do it on my own.
God, thank you for hearing my prayer
and saving me today!
Amen

Now then, WE CAN TALK! Because if you said that prayer and meant it, the Bible says you’ve been given eyes (Spiritual) to see, and ears(spiritual) to hear, and a heart to receive God’s Son into your life. Your name has been written in the” LAMB’S BOOK of LIFE!”
Rev.20:12-And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God;(judgement day-it’s real) and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the
Book of Life(it exists): and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. And whosoever was not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire. And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither [whatsoever] worketh abomination, or [maketh] a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb's Book of Life.”

It’s ALL about your heart my friend. Whether you meant it or not is whether it took or not! If it took, there will be many more wonderful words of ETERNAL LIFE for you to feast upon and to share with others in the upcoming days and weeks ahead! I’m so looking forward to giving to you Christ’s engrafted Word that is not only able to save your souls but change your life FOREVER!
Have a great day! :)
